The motor is quiet, but powerful. Small design allows for easy placement in smaller spaces. The remote control is a great tool. It would be nice if the instructions were easier to understand when you first use it, but they are not difficult. It is great to have the option of turning off the function light when you are not using it, especially in a nighttime bedroom.
