You can capture a Santa Claus photo in your own home by uploading a picture of the Christmas tree or living room.
Next, you’ll want to choose to “Add a sticker” where you can pick one of the Santas from the diverse options available. In each Santa category, there are two FREE Santas. The rest of the Santa poses can be purchased in the app. These optional in app purchases start at $1.99.
Insert the “sticker” of your choice and the app will merge it with your photograph. You’ll be able to use the photo editing tools to move Santa and fine-tune your picture. When you’re ready to save the photo, choose “Export.” From here, you can opt to download the photo or share it to social media.
Capture the Magic makes an app similar for videos. It’s for iOS and called Santa Live! This app is similar, but requires in-app purchases.

This charming app has a countdown to Christmas and also provides plenty of information on NORAD’s mission and how and why they track St. Nick. You can even play a free game or listen to free Christmas music every day as you wait for the big event!
Santa Tracker by Dualverse is similar. It may be appealing to kids because of its festive graphics and fun animations. However, you may encounter a lot ads and certain features may require in-app purchases.
Plus, you can hear directly from Santa using the Message From Santa App.
The app Message From Santa allows parents to arrange a free phone call, text, or video message from Santa. Santa can be left a voicemail by your child. These functions are all done using the app so you don’t even need to type in your phone number.
The app itself is FREE to download and many of the features are free to use (though you’ll receive ads). You can add on extras for a small fee, but they aren’t necessary! Even without any add-ons, the free functions are very impressive.
You can download this app for Christmas. I tried a few out and was impressed by my Santa call. He was also quick with his text messages, but I still found him to be very helpful.
Playing around with this app is fun and I would recommend that parents do it before using the application with their children. This will allow you to anticipate any questions and prompts your child might have. 🎄
