I LOVE this thing – could not be easier to use and I was laminating less than 5 minutes after opening the box. It is lightweight and sleek, easy to use, and plugs into the wall. The laminator includes an instruction manual, plenty of hot-laminating papers in different sizes, two tools to punch holes for storing the laminated media and a measuring device.
The laminator has two lamination options: Hot or Cold. (The sheets that come with it are designed for hot laminating). I simply plugged in the laminator, selected the “hot” option on the toggle switch, and waited for the green light to indicate the laminator was ready. It was ready in a matter of minutes. While I waited, I used the measuring tool on my paper to trim it down so there was a border of at least 1/8″ around the paper when inside the laminated sheet.
I actually didn’t mind that I had to trim the 81/2 x 11″ paper sheet because once laminated, it fit perfectly into a standard-size binder. The sheet was ready within seconds after the green light appeared. The sheet is completely coated, looks beautiful, and is thick and durable. It can be easily cleaned. I love it! I’m obsessed – I haven’t stopped laminating all our study guides since I opened the box. It’s my new favorite tool – highly recommended! It’s a 10/10!
