We bought these for our dog a few weeks ago. He chews on everything – even tennis balls. These aren’t like tennis balls. He doesn’t even try to chew through them. They are solid and sturdy. He loves them. He keeps one outside and chases the ball around when he visits the bathroom. It’s small enough that he can toss it himself. It bounces when it hits the grass and is easy to clean if you want to bring it in. We bought more after we lost one. This was a much better price than the $14 that we paid in store. We are extremely happy with our purchase.
I’ve bought these for about 6 years now. We typically go through 4 per year. They’re pretty indestructible but if you DO leave them outside in the weather they will eventually “dry rot” from weather exposure. They bounce great…dog loves to chew or squish them in his mouth. He enjoys them inside, but prefers to use the chuckit wand outside. Your hands don’t get dirty from throwing the ball.
They’re SO much better that the dirty, stinky tennis ball. They don’t pick up much debris so he doesn’t cough much. Every day, rain or shine, we play fetch for 30 minutes with Chuck It balls.
My dog is 65 lbs. We have never been close to choking when we bought the medium-sized ball. It’s the perfect size for him. The quality is worth the price.
