Pretty good espresso machine using Peet’s original pods. This machine was purchased because I wanted to be able to make my own espresso with coffee beans. The machine makes a lot of noise when making espresso. The feature that allows me to make 2 different sizes of espresso is great. It makes crema. Great price when it’s on sale. For the sale price, it’s worth it if you can’t afford the more expensive one using Vertuo pods.
I received this unit right before Christmas. Since then, I’ve probably put about 25 capsules through, and have used the inserts for grounds about 6 times. Cafe Bustelo was my choice, and I’ve been very pleased with the results. This is a great machine if you’re looking for a Nespresso machine.
It’s by far less expensive than nearly every Nespresso unit, and you can use your own grounds if need be. Also, it’s super compact and fits at my desk perfectly. I do have to say it’s a little loud but not bothersome.
