Celebrate the Holidays National Kids Take Over the Kitchen Day with a new kids‘ cookbook!
Today, September 13, is National Kids Take Over the Kitchen Day!
National Kids Take Over the Kitchen Day encourages kids to spend quality time with their adult family members in the kitchen. Whether it’s helping to prepare a meal or completely taking over (for teens and older kids who can handle this responsibility), kids of all ages can participate!
Cooking with children can help them develop a healthy diet and a passion for food at an early age. Not only will your child develop confidence, independence, and culinary skills, but they’ll also make some wonderful memories while preparing meals with the grownups in their life.
To celebrate National Kids Take Over the Kitchen Day, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite cookbooks for kids. These cookbooks make great gifts, and they’re a wonderful way to include children in the kitchen, whether they’re taking over or just helping out.
